Overview
Our talent team is representing a confidential specialty pharmacy organization seeking a bilingual Registered Nurse for Clinical Operations. This remote position supports patients and caregivers through telephonic clinical assessment, education, and adherence support across a range of specialty therapies.
As the clinical liaison between patients and the care team, you'll conduct assessments, identify therapy-related needs, collaborate with pharmacists and providers, and ensure accurate documentation in support of quality outcomes and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical assessments and provide disease- and therapy-specific education to patients and caregivers within nursing scope of practice
- Identify and address patient needs related to therapy use, adherence, adverse effects, and disease-state concerns; triage to pharmacists and notify providers when appropriate
- Document clinical assessments, interventions, care coordination activities, and clinical notes accurately in patient records
- Support planning, implementation, and maintenance of clinical programs that promote patient care and medication adherence
- Complete required documentation including adverse event forms in accordance with FDA, manufacturer, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with pharmacists, clinical team members, manufacturer partners, and provider offices to support protocols and patient care needs
- Assist with order creation and setup activities including payment method, copay assistance, and shipment coordination as needed
- Maintain clinical competency in specialty treatments, disease states, and protocols
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, HIPAA, and applicable federal and state regulations
What We're Looking For
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Licensure: Current, unrestricted RN license in state of residence required, with ability to obtain additional single-state licenses as needed; multi-state compact nursing license preferred
- Experience: 2+ years of patient-centered care or disease management nursing experience preferred
- Language: Bilingual skills required to support diverse patient populations
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with cross-functional teams
- Commitment to compliance program objectives
Schedule: Monday–Thursday 10:30am–7:00pm and Friday 9:30am–6:00pm CST
Location: Remote (United States); please note our client cannot support remote work in Alaska, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Vermont, Washington DC, West Virginia, or Wyoming
