About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare technology organization seeking a Market Leader, Sales - Life Sciences to lead and scale their Life Sciences business vertical. This senior leadership role owns end-to-end success across pharma, biotech, and medical device markets, including strategic planning, business development, product roadmap influence, and operational execution.

Our client is seeking a leader with deep Life Sciences expertise and a proven track record in scaling data-driven healthcare platforms. You'll work at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and AI to shape market-aligned solutions and drive sustained growth across the Life Sciences ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall strategy for the Life Sciences vertical, aligned with company vision and growth objectives
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities across pharma, biotech, CROs, and medical device organizations
• Build and maintain executive relationships with key Life Sciences stakeholders and strategic partners
• Lead complex negotiations and commercial discussions with enterprise clients
• Manage and develop a Life Sciences sales organization reporting directly to this role
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to inform product strategy based on customer needs, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements (FDA, GxP)
• Own OKRs and financial metrics for the Life Sciences business unit
• Oversee go-to-market planning, resource allocation, and performance management
• Provide regular business performance updates to executive leadership
• Leverage strategic partnerships to drive client acquisition and expand value delivery

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
• 10–15+ years of experience in Life Sciences, healthcare technology, or related industries
• 5+ years in senior leadership roles with proven track record of driving vertical-focused growth strategies
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and executing go-to-market strategies at scale
• Strong understanding of the Life Sciences ecosystem including pharma, biotech, clinical research, and regulatory environments
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and executive presence with ability to influence across stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build C-level relationships
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities with results-oriented mindset
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments
