Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential manufacturing organization seeking a Technical Field Engineer for installation and commissioning work. In this role, you will:
- Install, commission, and develop specialized dosing equipment systems, primarily across European sites
- Support project and assembly activities at the production facility in Alzey on a rotating schedule
- Optimize control system performance at customer locations
- Provide consultation and technical support to customers
- Lead small to medium-sized projects within your technical domain
- Support the sales team with specialized customer requirements
- Develop control diagrams and review technical specifications
- Create requirement specifications for control system extensions implemented by external partners
- Conduct acceptance testing at supplier facilities and coordinate internal trials to optimize specialized equipment
What We're Looking For
Our client needs someone with:
- Completed technical training or degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or automation technology
- Practical experience in construction and commissioning of small to medium-sized specialized machinery
- Strong knowledge of safety technology standards in machine and plant engineering; control systems expertise is advantageous
- Customer-focused approach with ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on mentality
- Willingness to travel to the Alzey location and internationally as needed
- Ability to communicate effectively across different organizational levels
- Good technical English skills
