Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential healthcare organization seeking a Utilization Review Management Educator-Auditor. This position provides utilization management expertise and program development support to the UM team while auditing for compliance with CMS guidelines. You will be critical to staff growth and development, maintaining the team at the cutting edge of utilization review practice while ensuring regulatory compliance.
In this role, you will assess, plan, implement, and improve education and training methods to meet employee learning needs, enhance job performance and competency, and drive overall program performance. You will also serve as the internal UM performance improvement coach, providing process evaluation and recommendations for continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field
- Active RN license (Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNLC Multistate Licensure)
- 3+ years of experience in clinical settings, utilization management, or case management
- Required experience with InterQual and MCG criteria
- Epic experience preferred
- InterQual Certified Instructor (IQCI) certification preferred
- Strong understanding of CMS regulatory guidelines
- Proven ability to develop and deliver educational programs
- Experience in quality auditing and process improvement
