About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential cloud infrastructure organization in their search for a Senior Cloud Product Manager to join remotely from Germany. This is a unique greenfield opportunity within an established company—you'll build a new product from the ground up, expanding into a fresh market segment with end-to-end ownership.
Our client offers remote-first work within Germany, with optional hybrid or on-site arrangements in major German cities. You'll work in a small, focused team of experts where speed and autonomy define the culture. This role reports directly to the Head of Product with full independence and no micromanagement.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain feedback channels with customer and support teams to capture market and user needs
- Translate customer insights into a compelling product vision and own the complete product roadmap—from strategic planning through prioritization to delivery
- Refine product requirements until development teams can implement with confidence, sequencing roadmap items for maximum impact
- Collaborate closely with your UX partner to shape the best possible user experience
- Engage in technical discussions across the full stack, understanding product architecture and identifying blockers before they escalate
- Interface with existing company processes in finance and infrastructure while building new processes where needed
- Present progress and updates to stakeholders across development, sales, support, marketing, and leadership as the central point of contact
- Establish a product-driven roadmap spanning at least two years with clear, measurable KPIs
- Leverage AI tools in daily work to maintain the pace a venture environment demands
What We're Looking For
- Extensive senior-level product management experience, ideally in cloud or IT infrastructure environments
- Proven end-to-end ownership of product roadmaps—from strategy through delivery, not just in supporting roles
- Solid technical understanding of cloud-native architecture: containers, Kubernetes, microservices, and cloud infrastructure
- Experience with data-driven prioritization, A/B testing, and agile frameworks like Scrum
- Track record acting as the central liaison between engineering, sales, support, and leadership
- Natural, confident use of AI tools in product ideation and everyday tasks
- High degree of independence and composure in ambiguous greenfield environments—you create your own task list
- Ability to quickly build deep understanding of new domains, products, and technologies
- Professional fluency in English (working language); German skills are a plus
- Experience with pricing and packaging is beneficial
- Product management certifications (CSPO, Pragmatic Institute) and degrees in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering are advantageous
