Internship Go-to-Market Engineering, AI & Automation (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing SaaS company in the renewable energy technology space. They are looking for a technical intern to join their Go-to-Market engineering function in Berlin.

This is a hands-on role where you will build the technical infrastructure that powers sales, marketing, and customer success operations. You will work directly with commercial leadership to automate workflows, integrate systems, and deploy AI solutions that create measurable revenue impact.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain internal applications and workflows that support the entire customer lifecycle from lead generation through expansion
• Automate repetitive processes across sales, marketing, and customer success operations including lead enrichment, routing, qualification, pipeline management, and customer onboarding
• Design and implement AI-powered workflows for lead qualification, conversation analysis, opportunity identification, and operational automation
• Connect and integrate systems across the GTM technology stack to ensure reliable data flow between platforms
• Prototype and ship solutions rapidly, moving from concept to implementation without lengthy planning cycles
• Work directly with cross-functional teams including SDRs, Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, and leadership to identify high-impact problems
• Build tools that help commercial teams make better decisions and execute more efficiently
• Measure the business impact of your technical solutions on pipeline generation, conversion rates, sales cycles, and retention

What We're Looking For

• Strong technical skills with hands-on experience in Python and/or TypeScript
• Proven experience building automations and integrations using tools like n8n and APIs
• Comfort working with databases, APIs, webhooks, and data pipelines
• Interest in sales, marketing, customer success, and the systems behind SaaS revenue operations
• Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into technical solutions independently
• Builder mindset with a bias toward shipping working solutions quickly and iterating based on feedback
• Fluent English required; German or another European language is a plus
• Bonus: experience with CRM platforms, communication tools, billing systems, analytics platforms, or similar GTM technology
• Bonus: previous work in early-stage or high-growth startup environments
• Bonus: experience building internal tools, AI agents, lead-scoring systems, or automated workflows

Location and Work Arrangement

This internship is based in Berlin with a strong preference for in-person collaboration at the company's office.
