About This Opportunity
We are representing a major hospital system in Dortmund seeking an IT System Engineer / System Administrator (m/w/d) with expertise in Citrix and infrastructure. This role centers on operating and advancing a complex, virtualized IT environment with stringent availability and security requirements.
Responsibilities
- Administer and enhance the Citrix environment (Virtual Apps & Desktops, PVS, ADC/NetScaler)
- Manage Windows and Linux server systems
- Plan and oversee IT infrastructure projects
- Provide 2nd- and 3rd-level support and conduct root cause analysis
- Introduce new technologies and optimize the IT landscape
- Create technical documentation and operational procedures
- Collaborate with other IT teams across the organization
What We're Looking For
- Vocational training as IT Specialist in System Integration, Computer Science degree, or comparable qualification
- Strong knowledge of Citrix technologies, ideally with certification
- Proven experience delivering IT projects
- Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
- Fluent German and good English language skills
