About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential retail services organization seeking a Retail Van Representative in Sacramento, Sacramento County. This is a field-based sales role focused on building customer relationships and driving product placement through direct, face-to-face engagement within your assigned territory.

Our client operates in the consumer goods and retail merchandising space, partnering with major retailers to increase product visibility and sales performance. As the Retail Van Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for existing and prospective retail accounts, presenting product benefits, negotiating display space, and ensuring optimal distribution across your territory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face sales calls with retail customers throughout your assigned Sacramento territory
• Present sales proposals that highlight product features, benefits, and promotional opportunities
• Negotiate and secure increased distribution points and in-store display activity
• Manage customer relationships to drive repeat business and account growth
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking as needed
• Track sales metrics and report on territory performance regularly
• Collaborate with internal teams to align on promotional calendars and product launches

What We're Looking For

• Proven sales experience, preferably in retail, route sales, or territory management
• Strong face-to-face communication and presentation skills
• Ability to negotiate effectively and close sales in a field environment
• Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (van or personal vehicle)
• Comfortable working independently while meeting territory goals
• Familiarity with the Sacramento retail landscape is a plus
• Basic proficiency with mobile sales tools and reporting systems
