About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential management consulting firm seeking a (Senior) Consultant to join their Production & Operations practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on strategic transformation and operational excellence projects across manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering environments. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to help organizations navigate complex operational challenges and drive sustainable performance improvements.

Location: Hamburg, München, Düsseldorf, or remote within Germany

Responsibilities

• Support transformation and operational improvement projects across manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering environments
• Analyze business processes and operational performance to identify improvement opportunities and support strategic decision-making
• Contribute to the design of target operating models, governance structures, and transformation roadmaps
• Support operational strategy and optimization initiatives across production and supply chain functions
• Apply lean and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance efficiency, quality, and business outcomes
• Develop client deliverables and support workshops, stakeholder engagement, and project execution activities

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in management consulting, delivering transformation and operational improvement projects across manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering environments
• University degree in engineering, business administration, economics, or a comparable field
• Understanding of operational processes, continuous improvement methodologies, and transformation initiatives in industrial settings
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Fluent German and English language skills
• Flexibility and willingness to travel based on client and project needs
• Analytical thinking combined with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
