Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential telecommunications provider seeking an apprentice IT Systems Integration Specialist (Fachinformatiker/-in Systemintegration) to begin in August 2027. In this three-year apprenticeship based in Düsseldorf, you will learn how modern IT infrastructures are built, maintained, and developed while working alongside experienced colleagues on real projects from day one.

Your hands-on training will include:

• Configuring and supporting IT workstations, notebooks, and end-user devices
• Working with Windows and Linux systems, networks, and IT infrastructure
• Installing and maintaining hardware and software while systematically analyzing technical issues
• Processing support requests through ticketing systems and developing technical solutions
• Implementing IT security standards and data protection measures in daily operations
• Testing, implementing, and documenting new technologies

Throughout your apprenticeship, you will rotate through departments including IT operations, voice and data engineering, data center operations, security management, and consulting. This exposure ensures you understand how IT, business units, and customers work together effectively.

Required qualifications:

• Fachoberschulreife, Fachhochschulreife, or Abitur (secondary school qualification)
• Genuine enthusiasm for IT, computers, networks, and emerging technologies
• Aptitude for analyzing technical problems and developing solutions
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
• Curiosity about new technologies and motivation for personal development

Pay
