Be ready to walk through a deteriorating cardiac patient, telemetry priorities, SBAR handoff, and how you seek help as a new or graduate nurse. Ask how GNs are precepted on cardiology and how the unit handles safety after recent workplace-violence coverage.
Strong fit if you want tertiary cardiology nursing at a long-established teaching hospital and can handle acute cardiac acuity. Less ideal if you need remote work or a quiet low-acuity outpatient pace.
