About the Role

You'll use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for your assigned patients throughout their hospital stay. As a clinical professional, you'll maintain accountability for safe, effective patient outcomes while supporting the broader care team and coordinating services across departments to meet each patient's unique needs.

What You'll Do

• Deliver direct bedside nursing care and perform clinical assessments using the nursing process
• Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment; recognize and report changes promptly
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed
• Document patient care, progress notes, and outcomes in the medical record accurately and timely
• Communicate with patients and families about their treatment plan, recovery expectations, and self-care instructions
• Partner with physicians, respiratory therapists, social workers, case managers, and other disciplines to coordinate comprehensive care
• Safeguard patient rights, maintain HIPAA-compliant confidentiality, and uphold professional ethical standards
• Evaluate care effectiveness and contribute to continuous quality and safety initiatives on the unit

What We're Looking For

• Current RN licensure in your state, or recent graduate nurse eligible for state licensure
• Knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles, common diagnoses, and patient care protocols
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to manage multiple patients and prioritize in a dynamic hospital environment
• Commitment to patient safety, compassionate care, and professional standards
• Collaborative, flexible approach to teamwork and ongoing learning
