About the Role

As a Cardiac Intervention Technician at Mercy's Festus campus, you'll be an essential member of the cardiovascular special procedures team. This full-time day position combines technical expertise with direct patient care, requiring you to stay alert, organized, and responsive in a fast-paced clinical setting where precision and teamwork directly impact patient outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, maintaining focus on patient safety and procedural success
• Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status throughout procedures, alerting the care team to any changes
• Prepare and sterilize equipment, catheters, contrast media, and supplies before each case
• Ensure all equipment is tested, calibrated, and ready for use at the start of each shift
• Maintain a sterile field during procedures and position patients as needed for optimal imaging and access
• Document procedural details accurately and timely to support patient records
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and imaging specialists to coordinate care flow
• Follow established protocols for radiation safety, infection control, and patient handling

What We're Looking For

• Clinical experience in cardiovascular or radiology settings, or equivalent training
