Project Manager – Data Analytics Lead

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential federal contractor supporting large-scale transition assistance programs for U.S. Service members, Veterans, and their families. We are seeking a Project Manager - Data Analytics Lead to drive performance evaluation, reporting, and strategic insights for mission-critical government programs.

This is a remote position in the United States with occasional travel required for in-person meetings. This is a contingent hire role.

Responsibilities

• Lead data analysis, reporting, and performance evaluation activities for federal transition assistance programs
• Oversee collection, management, interpretation, and presentation of program data to support operational effectiveness and strategic planning
• Develop and implement performance analysis frameworks and conduct comprehensive program evaluations
• Identify trends, gaps, and emerging issues impacting service delivery
• Coordinate data integration from multiple government and partner sources
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses and prepare executive-level reports, briefings, and recommendations
• Develop actionable insights, performance metrics, dashboards, and analytical products supporting data-driven decision-making
• Deliver analytics measuring program outcomes, operational performance, customer engagement, and service effectiveness
• Collaborate with government leadership, program managers, and technical teams to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant reporting
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and modernization efforts

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years within the federal government
• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
• Proven experience managing government program data collection, modeling, analyses, and product generation
• Demonstrated expertise in data modeling, statistical analysis, performance measurement, and dashboard development
• Experience preparing executive-level reports, briefings, and documentation deliverables
• Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations that support organizational goals
• Comfort supporting complex client relationships
• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
