We are representing a confidential financial services organization seeking an experienced Group Manager for Statutory Reporting. This is a technical finance leadership role supporting group consolidation, IFRS compliance, and statutory financial statements across multiple jurisdictions. Responsibilities

• Prepare group consolidation packages and financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards
• Oversee statutory financial statement preparation for multiple jurisdictions
• Support and coordinate the global audit process, serving as a key liaison with external auditors
• Challenge existing consolidation and reporting processes to identify efficiency gains and strengthen controls
• Prepare comprehensive audit schedules and technical accounting papers for board review and audit purposes
• Lead financial reporting projects including implementation of new accounting standards and IAS requirements
• Provide technical accounting guidance across the business and maintain group-wide accounting policies
• Support acquisition integration to ensure alignment with group policies and statutory reporting standards
• Build effective working relationships with jurisdictional finance controllers, tax teams, company secretarial functions, and external auditors
• Maintain a strong control environment throughout the group consolidation process

What We're Looking For

• Qualification: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or part-qualified candidates with strong experience will be considered)
• Technical expertise: In-depth working knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements
• Background: Audit experience preferred but not essential for candidates with the right technical skill set
• Systems proficiency: Experience with group consolidation finance systems and accounts production platforms is advantageous
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare technical papers and present to senior stakeholders
• Analytical mindset: Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Proactive approach: Confidence to challenge existing processes and implement practical improvements
• Initiative: Self-starter who can work independently or collaboratively in a team environment
• Adaptability: Flexibility to manage competing priorities and work to tight deadlines during reporting cycles
