Product Owner, Technical – AI Stockbroking App

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential fintech organization building AI-powered stockbroking and financial services products across the Asia-Pacific region. We're seeking a Product Owner, Technical - AI Stockbroking App to join their Australia-based team and own critical product areas within their investment platform.

This is a role for builders who can deeply understand users, define product direction, collaborate with engineering and design teams, and launch quickly while continuously improving post-release.

Responsibilities

• Own product areas across insurance, payments, savings, investing, travel, or other financial services verticals
• Define user problems, product scope, success metrics, roadmap, and launch plans for your domain
• Collaborate with engineering, design, data, operations, compliance, and business stakeholders
• Transform complex financial products into simple, usable customer journeys
• Leverage data, user feedback, research, and production issues to inform product decisions
• Launch features, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous iterations
• Make informed trade-offs between speed, user experience, business impact, compliance requirements, and operational complexity

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, founder, growth/product operator, or similar role
• Strong product sense and ability to simplify complex workflows
• Proven ability to work closely with engineers and designers to ship production-quality products
• Comfort working with metrics, user feedback, experiments, and post-launch learning cycles
• Strong written communication, prioritization skills, and stakeholder management capabilities
• High ownership mentality and ability to drive work with limited guidance
• Experience in fintech, insurance, payments, consumer apps, or high-growth products is a strong advantage
• Must be currently based in Australia (remote role within Australia)
• Strong English communication skills required
