Product Monetization & Pricing Lead

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI technology company headquartered in Paris. Our client is seeking a Product Monetization & Pricing Lead to architect and implement pricing strategies across their product portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of product, revenue, and finance—translating technical innovation into commercially viable pricing models that serve both self-service and enterprise customer segments.

You will report to the Head of Product Operations and work on-site in Paris at least three days per week, with hybrid flexibility for the remainder.

Responsibilities

• Design and iterate on pricing frameworks including usage-based, subscription, and seat-based models for multiple product lines
• Build and maintain financial models, run controlled pricing experiments, and analyze consumption and adoption data to refine packaging
• Translate complex technical capabilities and underlying cost structures into customer-facing value propositions and pricing narratives
• Conduct competitive benchmarking and market analysis to ensure pricing remains defensible and attractive
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to create pricing playbooks, training materials, and enablement resources
• Develop and own dashboards and processes that track key monetization metrics—revenue, margin, customer lifetime value, and feature adoption

What We're Looking For

• 8–10 years of go-to-market, product strategy, or revenue operations experience in deep-tech or SaaS environments, with at least 5 years dedicated to pricing and monetization
• Demonstrated success designing pricing for technical products such as APIs, cloud infrastructure, or developer platforms
• Deep fluency in usage-, seat-, and license-based pricing models; experience with both product-led growth motions and enterprise sales cycles
• Strong quantitative and financial modeling skills; comfortable designing and interpreting A/B tests and data-driven experiments
• Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder influence; able to build consensus across Engineering, Product, Sales, and Finance without formal authority
• Bonus: familiarity with machine learning or AI pricing levers (inference costs, custom model training, fine-tuning) and high-growth startup environments

Pay
