Represented by Get A Job.ai

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential enterprise marketing organisation seeking a Product Manager to lead digital commerce initiatives for a major automotive client. In this role, you will serve as the central connection point across multiple teams and stakeholders, ensuring the right digital products are delivered at the right time.

You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery and hypothesis validation through design, engineering, QA, deployment, and market launch. You'll translate complex business objectives into detailed product requirements, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria that guide delivery teams.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading fortnightly prioritisation sessions and maintaining a transparent, ranked backlog aligned to quarterly planning horizons
  • Acting as the primary liaison across agency teams, client specialists, and third-party partners in a highly matrixed environment
  • Partnering closely with UX, UI, and content teams to define user outcomes and design standards while maintaining brand consistency
  • Commissioning market research, competitor analysis, and customer interviews to uncover unmet user needs
  • Monitoring product performance metrics and driving continuous conversion rate optimisation
  • Ensuring SEO is embedded in early planning and prioritisation rather than treated as an afterthought

What We're Looking For

Essential experience and skills:

  • Proven experience in product management roles
  • Strong background managing consumer-facing digital products, ideally within automotive (vehicle configurators, lead capture, CRM, fleet/retail touchpoints)
  • Customer-centric mindset focused on understanding and exceeding user needs
  • Strategic and analytical thinking—ability to translate corporate objectives into measurable digital KPIs with commercial acumen
  • Technical literacy and comfort collaborating with engineering, data, and analytics specialists
  • Data-driven decision-making using both quantitative and qualitative measures
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to say "no" constructively and create clarity from complexity
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or equivalent product management tools

Beneficial experience:

  • Prior automotive industry experience

This is a permanent position based in London or Manchester with hybrid working arrangements.
