Product Director

About the Role

As Product Director at Vericast, you'll own the end-to-end product lifecycle for key initiatives, partnering with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to define roadmaps and deliver customer value. You'll translate market insights and business strategy into compelling product direction, ensuring alignment across teams while maintaining focus on user outcomes and business impact. This leadership role combines strategic thinking with hands-on product ownership in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap priorities to stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Conduct customer research, competitive analysis, and market assessment to inform product decisions
• Collaborate with engineering and design partners to scope features, define acceptance criteria, and guide development
• Manage product backlog, prioritize initiatives, and make data-informed trade-off decisions
• Track product performance metrics, analyze user behavior, and iterate based on results
• Partner with sales, customer success, and marketing to ensure product-market fit and successful go-to-market execution
• Build and mentor product team members, fostering a culture of customer-centricity and continuous improvement

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management or product leadership experience, preferably in B2B software or services
• Demonstrated ability to define strategy, drive alignment, and deliver results in a matrixed organization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with comfort working with data and metrics
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; skilled at storytelling and influence across teams
• Experience conducting user research, building customer empathy, and translating insights into product direction
• Familiarity with product development methodologies and agile workflows
• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
