Personal Trainer, Palos Verdes

Equinox is seeking a full-time Personal Trainer to join our Rolling Hills, CA location. In this role, you'll deliver transformative fitness experiences to our members, designing and leading customized training programs tailored to individual goals and fitness levels.

What This Role Involves

As a Personal Trainer at Equinox, you'll partner directly with members to assess their fitness needs, develop progressive training plans, and provide expert guidance on exercise technique and form. You'll work in our state-of-the-art gym environment in Rolling Hills, creating motivating sessions that blend strength training, functional fitness, and cardiovascular conditioning. Your role combines coaching expertise with the luxury fitness experience Equinox members expect, fostering long-term relationships and celebrating member achievements. Whether serving clients from the Palos Verdes area or throughout the Rolling Hills community, you'll be instrumental in helping members achieve their wellness goals.

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct fitness assessments and develop customized training programs for each client
• Lead engaging one-on-one and small-group training sessions using proper exercise form and progression
• Educate members on nutrition, recovery, and lifestyle strategies that support their fitness objectives
• Monitor member progress, adjust programming as needed, and maintain detailed training records
• Build strong relationships with members to encourage retention and referrals
• Maintain knowledge of fitness industry trends and continue developing your professional expertise

Skills & Qualifications

• Current personal training certification from an accredited organization (NASM, ACE, ISSA, or equivalent)
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Proven experience as a Personal Trainer with a track record of successful client outcomes
• Expert knowledge of exercise science, biomechanics, and safe training principles
• Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire diverse clients
• Passion for fitness and genuine commitment to member success
• Professional demeanor and ability to represent the Equinox brand with excellence
