Material Handler Day Shift

Role Overview

As a Material Handler with Cornerstone Building Brands in Brookhaven, Mississippi, you'll be responsible for the safe handling, movement, and storage of materials throughout our manufacturing environment. Your work ensures that production lines have the materials they need when they need them, supporting the efficiency and quality of our daily operations.

Core Duties

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and products in designated storage areas
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and effectively
• Transport materials between departments, staging areas, and production floors
• Maintain accurate inventory records and communicate stock levels to supervisors
• Stack, load, and unload materials following proper safety and handling procedures
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Follow all company safety protocols and manufacturing standards

What We're Looking For

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to stand and move about the facility for extended periods during day shift hours
• Experience with material handling equipment or demonstrated ability to learn quickly
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in organizing and tracking materials
• Reliability and a strong work ethic—we value team members who show up ready to contribute
• Ability to follow safety instructions and work within established procedures
• High school diploma or GED preferred
