About the Role
As a Roll Form Machine Operator, you'll be responsible for running and monitoring automated roll forming machinery that shapes raw materials into finished building components. This is hands-on production work that requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety. You'll work the 1st shift schedule in our New Albany production facility, contributing directly to our manufacturing output and quality standards.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Operate roll forming machines according to established parameters and specifications
- Set up and adjust machinery for different production runs, including die changes and calibration
- Monitor equipment performance and product output throughout your shift
- Inspect finished components for quality defects and dimensional accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery
- Track production counts and report completion data
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Prior experience operating production machinery or equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
- Attention to detail and commitment to product quality
- Ability to read and follow technical specifications and work instructions
- Reliability and consistent attendance
- Willingness to work a 1st shift schedule in a manufacturing environment
