Position Summary

As a Field Service Engineer 2, you are responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing sophisticated medical equipment at customer facilities throughout the Denver area. You'll work both independently and as part of a service team to ensure maximum uptime, diagnose and resolve technical issues, and provide expert support to healthcare professionals. This role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, reliability under pressure, and a genuine commitment to customer success in critical healthcare environments.

Core Duties

• Install and configure equipment at customer locations, ensuring full compliance with specifications and industry standards
• Perform routine maintenance and preventive service visits to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues in the field using technical documentation and service resources
• Document all service activities, maintenance performed, and parts replaced accurately in company systems
• Train customer staff on equipment operation, maintenance, and best practices for safety and performance
• Coordinate with headquarters support and engineering teams when technical issues require escalation or advanced expertise
• Manage service tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory responsibly and efficiently

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of hands-on field service, medical device, or equipment maintenance experience
• Strong problem-solving ability and practical technical skills with mechanical and electrical systems
• Comfortable reading technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals independently
• Excellent communication skills and genuine customer service orientation
• Flexibility to work in healthcare environments and adapt to varying customer requirements
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally within the Denver region as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred
