Construction Manager – Electrical

Role Overview

As Construction Manager - Electrical for Knobelsdorff Enterprises, you'll lead the planning, execution, and closeout of electrical construction projects. This role demands expertise in electrical systems alongside strong project management capabilities. You'll be accountable for timeline adherence, budget control, quality standards, and team performance while ensuring every project meets safety and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities, coordinating electrical crews and subcontractors across all project phases
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
• Monitor project progress against milestones and implement corrective actions as needed
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality and compliance with technical specifications
• Manage safety protocols and ensure all team members adhere to regulatory and OSHA requirements
• Communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders and leadership regularly
• Review and process contracts, change orders, and cost documentation
• Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, and permit authorities for approvals and inspections

Requirements

• 5 or more years of construction management experience with focus on electrical projects
• Deep knowledge of electrical systems, building codes, standards, and construction methodologies
• Proficiency in construction management software and digital project tracking tools
• Strong leadership and communication skills with proven ability to manage diverse teams
• Demonstrated capability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as project needs require
• High school diploma or GED; relevant certifications such as PMP or CCM preferred
