What This Role Involves

As a Clinical Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers in healthcare facilities across your territory. You'll demonstrate Intuitive's surgical systems and clinical applications, educate hospital staff on product capabilities, and support the sales process from initial engagement through implementation. This is a consultative role that requires understanding clinical workflows, surgeon preferences, and hospital economics to position solutions that drive tangible outcomes for your customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop territory strategy and identify high-potential hospital systems, surgical departments, and key opinion leaders
  • Conduct product demonstrations and clinical training sessions tailored to surgeons, nurses, and hospital administrators
  • Collaborate with sales teams to create customized proposals that address specific facility needs and surgical programs
  • Build clinical credibility by staying current on surgical advances, competitive landscapes, and healthcare industry trends
  • Support case studies, clinical evidence presentation, and regulatory compliance discussions
  • Track pipeline activity, forecast accurately, and deliver consistent results against targets

What We're Looking For

  • Proven sales experience in medical device, healthcare technology, or B2B enterprise sales
  • Strong foundation in clinical knowledge or demonstrated ability to learn surgical workflows and healthcare environments quickly
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
  • Self-directed, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed
