The Opportunity
Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 1st shift in our Tipp City, OH facility. In this full-time role, you'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment to ensure optimal manufacturing performance. This position requires a hands-on professional who is committed to safety, preventive maintenance, and minimizing downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment failures
- Repair or replace faulty components, parts, and equipment as needed
- Follow lockout/tagout and safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Document maintenance activities and equipment performance
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production interruptions
- Collaborate with production staff and other maintenance team members
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar equipment maintenance role
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance manuals
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to follow all safety protocols and procedures
