What This Role Involves

As a Process Engineer II with CRB, you will take on a mid-level technical engineering position focused on designing, analyzing, and improving manufacturing and operational processes. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to solve complex process challenges, develop engineering solutions, and drive operational excellence within our organization. This role bridges individual technical contribution with increasing project ownership and mentorship responsibilities.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Design, simulate, and optimize manufacturing and operational processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
  • Conduct process analyses, identify bottlenecks, and recommend data-driven improvements
  • Prepare technical documentation, process specifications, and standard operating procedures
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and equipment teams to implement process changes
  • Monitor process performance metrics and troubleshoot operational issues
  • Support process validation, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to capital projects and process technology evaluations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering discipline
  • 2–5 years of professional process engineering or related experience
  • Strong knowledge of process design, optimization, and improvement methodologies
  • Proficiency with process simulation software, CAD, or similar technical tools
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in team environments and manage multiple priorities
  • Professional engineering designation (P.Eng.) or willingness to pursue certification is a plus
