Process Development Engineer II, Advanced Therapy Project Management (ATPM)

About the Role

Reporting to the Product, Analytical, and Process Development Operations (PAPD Ops) organization, you'll serve as a process development professional who bridges project management, technology transfer, and business operations for Regeneron's advanced therapy initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of scientific innovation and operational excellence, where your technical expertise helps translate laboratory discoveries into scalable manufacturing and clinically viable therapeutic programs.

What You'll Do

• Drive process development activities for advanced therapy programs, from early-stage concept through manufacturing scale-up and technology transfer
• Manage cross-functional project workflows, timelines, and deliverables alongside clinical development, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams
• Support technology transfer initiatives to move processes from R&D into clinical and commercial manufacturing environments
• Identify process bottlenecks and improvement opportunities, collaborating with scientists and engineers to optimize efficiency and cost
• Contribute to business operations planning and resource allocation for therapy program portfolios
• Document and communicate technical progress to internal and external stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related scientific discipline
• 3+ years of professional experience in process development, bioprocess engineering, or related pharmaceutical manufacturing roles
• Demonstrated project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments with evolving priorities
• Strong technical communication skills; ability to explain complex processes clearly to diverse audiences
• Familiarity with cell therapy, gene therapy, or other advanced therapy modalities is a plus
