About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital consulting organization seeking an intern for their Digital Analytics team in München. This is a hands-on opportunity to work on emerging AI search visibility measurement—a field that's being defined right now, not taught in textbooks.

You won't be formatting slides. You'll be building the data foundation for a new methodology that measures how B2B brands appear in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, and other generative platforms. This is real client work with tangible outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Execute defined prompt sets regularly across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, and Google AI Mode; document which brands and sources are cited and track changes over time
• Prepare SEO data using Screaming Frog crawls, Search Console exports, and ranking comparisons; flag anomalies when discovered
• Analyze logfiles to verify AI crawler access (GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot) and identify potential blocking issues
• Test tracking implementations to ensure events fire correctly, consent states function properly, and data remains plausible in GA4 and Google Tag Manager
• Build data foundations for monthly client reports, learning which metrics drive decisions versus filler content
• Document methodology including prompt sets, definitions, and measurement limitations in a format that continues beyond your internship
• Participate in team meetings, ask questions about approach, and contribute observations from your data work

What We're Looking For

• Master's student in data, marketing, business, media, or computer science—or alternative background with clear motivation for this field
• At least one relevant prior experience in an agency, consulting firm, B2B company, international corporation, freelance work, or client-facing project where you worked with real deadlines
• Precision and attention to detail—repeatability in measurement is critical; inaccurate data has no value
• Genuine curiosity about AI beyond basic usage; you've wondered where ChatGPT and Perplexity source their answers
• Solid Excel or Google Sheets skills with comfort handling larger datasets; exposure to SQL, GA4, or Search Console is a plus
• Ability to work independently within structure—ask when unclear, then proceed without constant supervision
• Very good German and solid English
• Availability for minimum 6 months starting September (shorter periods don't allow enough time to contribute meaningfully)

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: €1,800 gross per month (full-time basis; pro-rated for part-time arrangements).
