Technical Solutions Engineer

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential software organization serving the legal and administrative sector in Germany. This Technical Solutions Engineer role offers the chance to work on complex client implementations that go far beyond standard product support or ticket resolution.

You'll serve as the technical bridge between business requirements and delivered solutions, designing custom workflows, data migrations, and system integrations that directly impact how clients manage their case processes. This is a client-facing technical role based in Karlsruhe with regular office presence expected and occasional travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom extensions, interfaces, workflows, and integrations using C#/.NET, VBA, and XML
• Maintain and enhance an Access-based business application and its MS SQL Server database structures
• Build and integrate digital case management solutions, electronic mailbox systems, and electronic signature capabilities
• Translate complex business and technical requirements into pragmatic, sustainable software solutions
• Provide technical consulting to clients on digitization and process optimization initiatives
• Coordinate technical implementations with clients and specialized departments within judiciary organizations
• Prepare technical documentation and maintain proper version control using Git

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience in software development or technical consulting within project-driven environments
• Strong proficiency in C#/.NET, MS Access, MS SQL Server, and VBA
• Experience with modern web technologies such as Angular, React, or Blazor is highly desirable
• Proven ability to analyze business requirements and design, implement, and deploy custom software solutions, integrations, and migrations
• Experience working with electronic signatures; familiarity with electronic legal transaction systems or comparable regulated environments is a plus
• Strong understanding of business processes combined with genuine interest in technical consulting and client collaboration
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style with excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Fluency in both English and German is required
