Northwestern Memorial Healthcare is hiring a Pharmacy Tech - Procurement Operations for our Grayslake, IL location. This is a full-time role working variable shifts supporting our pharmacy operations and procurement functions.

About This Position

As a Pharmacy Tech - Procurement Operations team member, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our pharmacy department runs smoothly by managing inventory, coordinating orders, and supporting procurement workflows. You'll work closely with our pharmacy staff and supply chain partners to maintain optimal stock levels, track medications, and process purchasing requests. This position offers the opportunity to grow your skills in a healthcare environment while contributing directly to patient care quality.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist with pharmacy inventory management, including receiving, sorting, and organizing medications and supplies
• Process and track pharmacy purchase orders and procurement requests
• Monitor medication stock levels and communicate inventory needs to procurement and ordering teams
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance and audit purposes
• Support the pharmacy team with operational tasks and workflow coordination
• Assist with coordination between pharmacy operations and vendor suppliers

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Pharmacy technician certification or eligibility for certification preferred
• Experience with pharmacy operations, inventory management, or healthcare supply chain
• Ability to work variable shifts and adapt to changing operational priorities
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with medication handling and documentation
• Organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Reliable transportation to our Grayslake location
• Willingness to learn healthcare systems and pharmacy-specific software platforms
