Patient Services Rep Part-time Days

The Opportunity

We're seeking a Patient Services Representative to support our Orland Park clinical operations on a part-time days schedule. In this role, you'll be the welcoming first point of contact for our patients, managing check-ins, insurance coordination, and appointment scheduling while maintaining the compassionate service that defines Northwestern Memorial Healthcare.

What You'll Do

• Register and check in patients, accurately recording demographic and insurance information
• Verify insurance coverage and explain patient financial responsibilities
• Schedule and reschedule patient appointments using our healthcare systems
• Greet patients in a friendly, professional manner and address questions or concerns
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations and healthcare privacy standards
• Update patient records and communicate relevant information to clinical staff
• Support the administrative workflow to keep patient services running smoothly
