The OKO Gold Project - Skilled HVAC Worker role at Gminingventures in Georgetown, Georgetown centers on delivering reliable heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning services for project facilities. As a full-time team member you will keep climate-control systems operating safely and efficiently so daily project activities continue without interruption. The work takes place on site and requires hands-on technical skill along with careful attention to safety and quality standards.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission HVAC units, ductwork, and related mechanical systems for the OKO Gold Project.
• Perform routine maintenance, filter changes, lubrication, and performance checks on heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.
• Diagnose faults using gauges, meters, and visual inspection, then carry out repairs or component replacements as needed.
• Respond to service calls promptly, restore system function, and document all work completed.
• Follow established safety protocols, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and site rules while working with refrigerants, electrical circuits, and mechanical tools.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to schedule work that minimizes disruption to project operations.
• Maintain accurate logs of materials used, service performed, and any recommendations for system upgrades.

What We're Looking For

• Proven background as a skilled HVAC worker with solid experience installing, servicing, and troubleshooting commercial or industrial climate-control systems.
• Familiarity with refrigeration cycles, electrical controls, air-flow balancing, and relevant local codes.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals accurately.
• Competence with common HVAC hand and power tools, recovery equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
• Physical capacity to lift equipment, work in varied weather conditions, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and willingness to follow Gminingventures site procedures.
• Clear communication skills and a reliable, team-oriented attitude suitable for project-based work in Georgetown, Georgetown.
