Mobile Developer – AI Finance Agent

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization that is building next-generation mobile banking experiences. Our talent team is searching for an Android Developer to join their product engineering function and build native mobile features for their AI-powered financial services platform.

This is a remote role based in Indonesia. You'll work on user-facing features that directly impact how customers manage insurance, payments, claims, and other financial products through a mobile-first experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship Android features using Kotlin for a production mobile banking application
• Design clean mobile flows for insurance, payments, claims processing, renewals, and financial services
• Collaborate with product and design teams to simplify complex user journeys and improve usability
• Integrate backend REST APIs and ensure mobile flows are stable, secure, and reliable
• Optimize app performance including crash rate reduction, loading states, responsiveness, and memory usage
• Leverage analytics and user behavior data to identify and resolve production issues
• Build AI-assisted mobile experiences that genuinely improve the user journey

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin
• Proven track record shipping production Android applications
• Strong knowledge of Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android architecture patterns
• Deep understanding of mobile UX principles, usability, edge cases, and user flow design
• Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging production issues in live environments
• Fast execution mindset with high ownership and strong attention to product quality
• Portfolio of app links, GitHub repositories, or screenshots demonstrating shipped work is highly valued
• Strong English communication skills for working with global teams
• Must be currently based in Indonesia

Tech Stack: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android SDK, Coroutines & Flow, SQL/NoSQL, TensorFlow Lite

What success looks like: You think in user journeys rather than isolated screens. You care about making complex financial products feel simple and accessible. You move quickly without sacrificing code quality. You notice UX, performance, and reliability issues before users report them.

This role is not suitable for: Engineers who only want fully defined tickets, developers who ignore crashes and edge cases, or those who prefer slower-paced environments.
