Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential preventive health organization based in Paris. This role sits at the intersection of clinical medicine, product development, and quality assurance. You will serve as the senior medical authority responsible for translating deep clinical expertise into actionable protocols, evidence-based standards, and member-facing content.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Clinical protocols and standards: Design protocol logic, decision trees, and clinical rules. Define biomarker thresholds and expert ranges. Translate medical reasoning into structures that product and operations teams can implement. Maintain alignment with current evidence and support expansion of preventive health programmes.
• Evidence assessment and clinical judgment: Set the evidence bar for what should be tested, recommended, or claimed. Provide clinical review of edge cases and sensitive outputs. Review AI-generated medical content for clinical accuracy and safety.
• Medical content development: Create biomarker explanations, protocol rationales, and in-product clinical language in both French and English at publication quality. Provide clinical sign-off for marketing materials and ensure all member-facing clinical language is trustworthy and medically sound.
• Medical quality and governance: Establish clinical review and sign-off processes. Partner with operations on quality-control systems, documentation standards, and audit trails. Define escalation and medical risk-management criteria. Set clinical performance indicators and medical quality standards.

What We're Looking For

Our client needs a physician with substantial clinical practice who can work effectively in a product-driven environment without running product or operations directly. You must be comfortable collaborating with product leads, AI systems, medical reviewers, and operational teams while maintaining medical rigour.

Required qualifications:

• MD degree with deep clinical practice—significantly more experience than a junior medical reviewer
• Strong clinical judgment with the ability to make sound decisions case-by-case and when defining broad standards
• Proven ability to set protocol logic, ranges, and evidence standards that others can execute
• Excellent writing skills in both French and English at publication quality
• Ability to collaborate effectively with product, operations, AI, and reviewer teams without owning their roadmaps
• Balance of medical rigour with pragmatism and willingness to take ownership beyond a narrow specialty

Preferred background: Prevention, internal medicine, nutrition, functional medicine, cardiology, public health, or related fields.

This role is not ideal if you:

• Prefer traditional bedside practice as your primary focus
• Want to run laboratory operations, partner relationships, or operational queues
• Wish to own product roadmap decisions
• Prefer pure research or citation work without implementing clinical standards
• Are a copywriter without genuine clinical practice experience
• Need all processes fully defined before contributing
• Prioritize predictable schedules over mission-driven intensity
