About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential logistics technology organization seeking a Head of Data Engineering to lead critical infrastructure initiatives. This is a fully remote position open to candidates based in Europe or the Americas.

Our client is building cutting-edge solutions in the logistics space and needs an experienced leader who can architect scalable data systems from the ground up. You'll report directly to senior leadership and work alongside a world-class team of engineers and commercial operators.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute core data engineering initiatives in a high-growth logistics environment
• Translate strategic vision into concrete execution roadmaps and drive rapid implementation from prototype to production
• Architect scalable data solutions that support critical business milestones and position the organization for institutional growth
• Take complete ownership of data infrastructure, systems architecture, and strategy without bureaucratic overhead
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, research, and commercial leaders

What We're Looking For

• Based in Europe or the Americas (or willing to work remotely in compatible time zones)
• High-agency builder mindset with proven domain expertise in data engineering and logistics technology
• Track record of taking extreme end-to-end ownership and delivering 0-to-1 initiatives
• Strong technical leadership with the ability to architect systems and drive strategy independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to execute rapidly in a fast-paced, validation-focused environment
