About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential healthcare organization seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to drive the strategic direction and implementation of Windows-based endpoint technology solutions. This is a critical leadership role focused on modern workplace technology and employee experience, with emphasis on Microsoft Intune, ConfigMgr, and Enterprise Mobility Management platforms.
Our client operates across multiple business lines and requires someone who can scale Windows solutions enterprise-wide while partnering with Architecture, Product Management, Support Services, and Experience teams.
Location: United States - Remote. Selected candidates must reside within 50 miles of: Arlington VA, Austin TX, Dallas TX, Fort Lauderdale FL, Louisville KY, Nashville TN, Tampa FL, or New York City Metro Area.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic design and implementation of Windows endpoint solutions across the enterprise
- Oversee policy management, compliance, and automation across Windows operating systems, ConfigMgr, and Intune
- Implement business continuity measures and evaluate device system security and privacy
- Deploy new device solutions across different business lines including home health and primary care settings
- Manage OEM hardware relationships, BIOS configurations, drivers, and security settings
- Build and maintain cross-platform standards in collaboration with Mac, Mobile, and Virtual platform teams
- Drive automation initiatives using PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages
- Execute proof of concepts and value demonstrations for emerging technologies
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years Windows endpoint management using Group Policy, ConfigMgr, or Intune
- 3+ years implementing new technologies through Proof of Concepts/Values
- 3+ years managing OEM hardware, BIOS, drivers, and security configurations for Windows endpoints
- 3+ years deploying Windows via OS Deployment, Windows Autopilot, or virtual platforms (Hyper-V, eSX, Windows 365/AVD)
- 2+ years managing Edge browser through Group Policy, Intune, or Edge Management Service
- 2+ years performing automation via PowerShell, Python, or similar languages
Preferred Qualifications:
- MD-102 Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate certification
- Nexthink Associate certification or above
- Microsoft Customer Connection Program (CCP) membership for Management
- Experience with Microsoft Graph API automation
- 3+ years securing Windows endpoints alongside security teams
- 2+ years with automation platforms (System Center Orchestrator, Azure Automation, Azure DevOps, Power Platform)
- 2+ years tracking industry trends through Gartner, Forrester, or similar programs
- 1+ year using DEX tools (Nexthink, Lakeside, 1E)
- Knowledge of Windows roadmap, lifecycle management, and capability deployment
Work Environment Requirements:
- Dedicated home workspace free from interruptions for PHI/HIPAA protection
- Minimum 25 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload internet speed (wired, cable, or DSL recommended)
- Occasional travel to client offices for training or meetings
