Healthcare Financial Transformation, Managing Consultant – Back-End Revenue Cycl

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential healthcare organization seeking a Managing Consultant to lead back-end revenue cycle transformation initiatives. In this role, you will own client engagements from start to finish, managing project teams and driving operational improvements across hospital revenue cycle functions. This position requires up to 75% travel across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple complex revenue cycle optimization projects simultaneously, from cultivation through completion
• Develop and oversee work plans, staffing requirements, project deadlines, and budgets for healthcare financial transformation engagements
• Manage day-to-day client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for project communications
• Guide, mentor, and coach consulting team members, providing feedback on project performance and career development
• Deliver client-ready work products and presentations to large groups, both internally and externally
• Collaborate with senior leadership to provide project updates and identify important developments
• Support business development initiatives and contribute to practice growth
• Drive strategic solutions across complex workstreams in at least one core area: Account Receivables, Denials Management, or Cash Acceleration

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• 5+ years of revenue cycle management experience with focus on optimization and performance improvement
• 5+ years of management consulting, professional services, or project management experience
• Proven track record of thought leadership and managing complex healthcare projects
• Demonstrated success building client relationships and mentoring consulting staff
• Strong presentation skills with ability to present to large groups
• Experience driving operational process improvement and change management for revenue cycle optimization within hospitals or health systems
• Subject matter expertise in at least one area: Account Receivables, Denials, or Cash Acceleration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or Clinical Administration
• Epic certifications
• Intermediate to advanced data manipulation and analytical skills using Excel
