Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential digital marketing agency seeking a Google Ads Manager to join their Hamburg-based team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing data-driven Google Ads strategies that deliver measurable results.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Developing and managing performance-driven marketing campaigns with focus on Google Ads
• Continuous analysis, optimization, and scaling of campaigns based on KPIs and conversion tracking
• Funnel optimization, budget management, and A/B testing execution
• Audience segmentation and data-driven decision making
• Close collaboration with content and creative teams to develop performance-optimized assets
• Market and competitive analysis to identify new trends and strategies
• Full ownership of tracking setups including Google Tag Manager, eTracker, and server-side tracking implementations
• KPI and conversion tracking with responsibility for creating and maintaining dashboards in Looker Studio and other BI systems

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks a performance marketing professional with:

• Several years of experience in performance marketing, preferably in dynamic industries
• Strong expertise in Google Ads campaign management and optimization
• Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, and eTracker
• Strategic thinking and analytical capabilities for performance optimization
• Creative instinct for audience-appropriate ad copy and messaging
• Experience with SEA and retargeting strategies
• Hands-on mentality with a data-driven approach
• German language skills at native or C1 level
