Kinetic Systems is hiring a full-time Head of Data Partnerships to join its team in San Francisco, California — at the forefront of applying AI agents to high-stakes healthcare challenges.

About the Role

Kinetic Systems operates where computer-use AI agents, proprietary data, and healthcare converge. The company's mission is to push frontier AI models toward genuine economic impact on healthcare tasks by constructing novel datasets, training environments, and purpose-built models. As Head of Data Partnerships, you will own the strategy and execution that fuels this data flywheel — identifying, structuring, and growing the relationships that give Kinetic Systems a durable competitive edge in healthcare AI.

What You'll Do

  • Build and lead Kinetic Systems' data partnership function from the ground up, defining the strategy for sourcing and acquiring high-value healthcare datasets
  • Identify, prospect, and close agreements with healthcare providers, health systems, payers, and other data holders
  • Negotiate complex data licensing, data-sharing, and co-development agreements in close collaboration with legal and technical stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective partners, tracking progress from initial outreach through signed agreement and data delivery
  • Work directly with research and engineering teams to translate data needs into partnership requirements and ensure seamless data onboarding
  • Represent Kinetic Systems externally at industry conferences and forums, building the company's reputation within the healthcare data ecosystem
  • Establish metrics and reporting frameworks to evaluate partnership performance and data quality over time

What We're Looking For

  • Proven track record closing data licensing, strategic data-sharing, or business development deals — ideally within healthcare, digital health, or life sciences
  • Deep familiarity with the healthcare data landscape, including an understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to navigate multi-stakeholder, legally complex deals
  • Experience building a function or team in a high-growth or early-stage environment
  • Strong cross-functional instincts — comfortable working alongside researchers, engineers, and executives
  • Self-directed and comfortable operating in ambiguity with limited process
