About the Role
This position serves as the operational backbone for the department's undergraduate initiatives. Working 37.5 hours per week, you'll coordinate the full range of academic support functions that keep our mathematics program running effectively. You'll report to the Director of Undergraduate Studies and collaborate closely with faculty and students to deliver a cohesive educational experience.
What You'll Do
- Oversee large-scale examination administration, including logistics, proctoring coordination, and grade management
- Manage curriculum development and course scheduling across the undergraduate mathematics program
- Maintain and update student academic records, transcripts, and progress documentation
- Provide comprehensive course support, including syllabi development, materials preparation, and classroom coordination
- Serve as primary liaison between undergraduate students and the mathematics faculty
- Process degree audits, graduation requirements, and academic progress tracking
- Coordinate with campus offices to support enrollment management and student success initiatives
- Handle routine administrative tasks including correspondence, scheduling, and data entry
