Role Overview
As a Girls Assistant Lacrosse Coach, you'll work collaboratively with the head coach to advance the Sun Valley lacrosse program. Core Duties
- Plan and execute practice sessions that emphasize fundamental lacrosse skills, game strategy, and athlete conditioning
- Provide individualized coaching to players, focusing on technique refinement, positioning, and tactical understanding
- Support recruitment initiatives and help cultivate a strong team culture built on respect and excellence
- Contribute to game preparation strategies and deliver in-game coaching support during competitions
- Track and document player progress, development metrics, and program activities
- Model professional conduct and athletic integrity as a mentor to student-athletes
What You Bring
- Current Pennsylvania Act 34, 115, and 151 background clearances (required)
- Demonstrated experience playing or coaching lacrosse at competitive levels
- Deep knowledge of girls' lacrosse rules, offensive and defensive strategy, and coaching best practices
- Excellent communication and motivational abilities
- Genuine commitment to youth athletic development, safety, and long-term player growth
- Availability to accommodate practice schedules, games, and team events
