Gatehouse Administrator

Culina Group is recruiting a full-time Gatehouse Administrator to join our Operations and Distribution team at our Worksop location. This on-site role is critical to maintaining the security, safety, and efficiency of our facility, placing you at the frontline of site access management.

What This Role Involves

As a Gatehouse Administrator at Culina Group, you'll be the first point of contact for everyone accessing our Worksop operations site. You'll manage controlled access to our facility, process and verify credentials for visitors and contractors, oversee delivery procedures, and ensure compliance with all security and health & safety protocols. This is a hands-on position that combines administrative duties with security responsibility, making it central to our operational success.

Your Responsibilities

• Control site access and issue visitor passes, managing all sign-in and sign-out procedures
• Verify and process documentation for visitors, contractors, delivery personnel, and other external parties
• Maintain accurate records of all site access, visitors, and deliveries in compliance with company procedures and relevant regulations
• Enforce health, safety, security, and data protection protocols consistently and professionally
• Communicate effectively with site management, staff, and external parties regarding access requirements and facility rules
• Conduct regular gatehouse inspections and maintain the gatehouse as a clean, secure, and professional environment
• Monitor and respond promptly to any security alerts, unusual activity, or breaches of procedure
• Support wider operational activities as required

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow security and procedural requirements accurately
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanour
• Ability to work independently, take responsibility for site security, and maintain confidentiality
• Flexible and reliable with a positive approach to changing operational needs
• Proven punctuality and professional standards
• Previous experience in a gatehouse, reception, security, or similar administrative role is desirable
