Wasteconnections is seeking a dedicated Front Load Driver to join our team at our 5175-Kilgore location. This full-time position plays a vital role in our waste management operations, serving the local community through reliable, professional service on daily collection routes.
Role Overview
As a Front Load Driver with Wasteconnections, you'll operate front-load waste collection vehicles to service residential and commercial customers throughout the Kilgore area. Your work directly impacts customer satisfaction and the efficiency of our local operations. You'll be the face of Wasteconnections in our community, maintaining professional standards while managing the mechanical and safety aspects of vehicle operation.
What You'll Do
- Operate front-load collection trucks on assigned routes in and around Kilgore
- Safely and efficiently pick up containers from customer locations
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Follow established safety protocols and company procedures
- Maintain accurate records and route documentation
- Interact professionally with customers and address concerns
- Meet daily collection targets and schedules
Skills & Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) appropriate to the vehicle class
- Proven experience operating front-load or similar collection vehicles
- Strong mechanical understanding of vehicle systems
- Ability to work early mornings and varied weather conditions
- Physical capability to perform the duties of the role
- Commitment to safety and customer service
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
