About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential media technology client seeking an Events Lead, UK & International based in London. Our client is transforming the digital publishing landscape by empowering independent creators with direct subscription models. This role will shape and execute a year-round events programme across the UK and key international markets, creating brand moments that bring together creators, cultural leaders, and communities.

You'll devise strategy, manage execution, and build frameworks for a growing portfolio of events—from flagship London gatherings to intimate creator meet-ups in cities worldwide. This is a chance to work at the intersection of culture, technology, and media with some of the most interesting voices shaping contemporary conversation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a UK events strategy that advances brand and business objectives, while ideating and overseeing events in key international territories
  • Manage the full event lifecycle in the UK—concept, promotion, coordination, and post-event amplification through social and press channels
  • Identify innovative opportunities to enhance brand presence, drive cultural conversation, and attract creators and subscribers
  • Empower partnership leads in various markets with strategic guidance and operational support for regional event delivery
  • Manage UK events budget with clear goals, measurement frameworks, and ROI tracking; build scalable processes for international markets
  • Recruit and lead freelancers and contractors to deliver outstanding results across multiple territories
  • Design replicable event formats that maintain impact and authenticity across strategic regions
  • Collaborate with internal teams, agencies, and vendors to deliver high-impact experiences while maintaining fiscal discipline

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years in experiential event marketing and production, with proven experience building and scaling event strategies that delivered measurable business impact
  • Strategic vision combined with exceptional operational execution—you think big picture while obsessing over details
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills with ability to translate vision into flawless delivery
  • Creative flair and natural storytelling ability—you conceive unexpected, brilliant event concepts
  • Deep network of premier agencies and vendors across creative, production, and experiential disciplines
  • Strong relationship-building skills across cross-functional teams; ability to inspire creative problem-solving
  • Cultural fluency with digital publishing and creator economy trends
  • Entrepreneurial drive and comfort building programmes from scratch in startup environments
  • Flexibility to travel globally for on-site event oversight when needed
  • Based in or willing to relocate to London
