PLM Solution Architect

This home-based PLM Solution Architect role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in the United Kingdom while supporting transformational projects for global clients.

We're seeking an experienced architect to lead Product Lifecycle Management initiatives, working across diverse industries to deliver complex technical solutions. This is an opportunity to shape enterprise-scale implementations while mentoring technical teams and driving organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Lead Architect on PLM transformation projects ranging from small workstreams to large enterprise initiatives
• Translate business requirements and use cases into solution definitions, identifying standard templates and architectural approaches
• Define process changes and support clients through organizational transformation
• Create and review design specifications, ensuring architectural integrity throughout build and test phases
• Coordinate architecture implementation activities and resolve escalated technical issues
• Review, categorize, and prioritize customer product issues, conducting root cause analysis and defining resolution approaches
• Mentor PLM Consultants, serving as the architectural authority for industry-specific solutions
• Maintain current knowledge of solution architecture practices, technical trends, and industry developments
• Build and maintain relationships with customer technical teams and stakeholders
• Support sales efforts by developing PLM strategy options and roadmaps

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management, or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a solution architect delivering complex PLM software solutions
• Knowledge of IT, CAD, and CAM technologies
• Experience working in engineering, industrial, or manufacturing environments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ownership and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work independently from a home office anywhere in the UK
