About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential engineering software consultancy serving clients across multiple industries. Our talent team is seeking an experienced PLM Consultant to join their UK-based delivery organization. This is a permanent, home-office position available anywhere in the United Kingdom.
Our client specializes in enterprise product lifecycle management implementations and works with organizations worldwide to optimize their engineering data environments. You'll deliver customized PLM solutions built on the Teamcenter platform, working directly with end clients to transform how they manage technical information.
Responsibilities
- Capture customer requirements and translate business needs into technical PLM solutions
- Install, configure, and customize Teamcenter core applications and modules
- Implement CAD data management, CAE data management, workflow processes, security policies, and reporting capabilities
- Develop integrations with third-party applications and migrate legacy data
- Provide ongoing technical support as the primary point of contact for assigned customers
- Deliver end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions
- Stay current with PLM platform advancements and industry best practices
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, software, or electrical engineering
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Strong interpersonal abilities and team collaboration mindset
- Self-motivated and able to learn quickly in customer-facing environments
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and internationally
Preferred:
- Programming experience in C++ and/or Java
- Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management concepts
- Previous exposure to or experience with Teamcenter
- Familiarity with CAD platforms such as NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks
