Engineering Manager

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential AI technology organization seeking an Engineering Manager to join their Product Engineering function in Paris. This is a leadership role combining hands-on technical contribution with team management, overseeing the development of systems that power a sophisticated AI platform serving millions of users globally.

You will lead a product engineering team of approximately ten engineers, translating advanced research into production-grade systems. This position offers significant influence over engineering operations, delivery practices, and product execution within a fast-growing technology company.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for your engineering team, removing blockers and enabling execution
• Own delivery of your team's roadmap, ensuring projects meet quality, performance, and timeline standards
• Partner closely with Product Managers to define roadmap, scope initiatives, and drive prioritization decisions
• Contribute to architecture discussions, system design reviews, and code reviews, setting technical standards through example
• Define and evolve team processes to maintain clarity and efficiency as the organization scales
• Challenge engineers to take ownership of their work and increase team resilience through knowledge sharing
• Hold your team accountable for results and consistent execution
• Keep the team aligned and engaged with product direction and business objectives
