About the Role
As an Embedded Software Engineer in our Industrialization team, you'll contribute to the design, development, and deployment of embedded software systems that optimize production processes and enhance manufacturing capabilities. You'll work on real-world applications where your code directly impacts operational efficiency and product excellence. This is a hands-on engineering role that combines firmware development with industrial automation expertise, positioned within our Guadalajara facility where you'll collaborate with a talented cross-functional team.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize embedded software solutions for industrial equipment and manufacturing systems
- Design and implement firmware that supports system functionality, reliability, and performance standards
- Collaborate with hardware and systems engineering teams to integrate software components
- Conduct testing, debugging, and validation of embedded code to ensure quality and stability
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices documentation
- Support the industrialization process by identifying software improvements for manufacturing environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in deployed systems
What We're Looking For
- Strong proficiency in embedded systems development and low-level programming
- Experience with microcontrollers, firmware development, or real-time operating systems
- Solid understanding of hardware-software integration and embedded architectures
- Knowledge of C/C++ or similar embedded programming languages
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work effectively within teams and communicate technical concepts clearly
- Education in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related technical field preferred
