Technical Lead- AI Cockpit

Join Bosch Group as a Technical Lead for our AI Cockpit initiative, leading the design and delivery of next-generation AI-powered command center technologies from our Plymouth, Michigan headquarters. This is a full-time remote position for an experienced technical leader ready to drive innovation at the intersection of artificial intelligence and enterprise software architecture.

Role Overview

As Technical Lead for the AI Cockpit program, you'll architect and oversee the development of intelligent, data-driven dashboard solutions that empower users with real-time insights and predictive analytics. You'll own the technical vision, guide a team of engineers, and ensure our platform delivers industry-leading performance, scalability, and user experience. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership, making you responsible for both execution and evolution of our AI cockpit capabilities.

Core Duties

• Lead the technical design and implementation of AI cockpit features, from concept through production deployment
• Mentor and guide a team of software engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence
• Make architectural decisions that balance innovation, maintainability, and performance across distributed systems
• Collaborate with product, design, and stakeholder teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
• Establish coding standards, development practices, and quality metrics that drive reliability and code reuse
• Evaluate emerging AI/ML technologies and frameworks, recommending adoption where they advance our platform

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong background in software architecture and full-stack development, with proven experience leading technical teams
• Deep knowledge of machine learning, data pipelines, and AI integration in production systems
• Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks commonly used in cloud-native applications
• Experience designing and scaling backend systems, APIs, and real-time data processing platforms
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence technical decisions across cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
